STEP 2: Change Inviso Domain Account Password

NOTE:
All the steps in PART ONE can be done with either a personal laptop or an Android/iOS phone. We recommend that all the steps in PART ONE are completed with a personal device (a laptop or an Android/iOS phone) to ensure a smooth onboarding experience.

Changing your password regularly is a good practice to protect your account and data from unauthorized access. You can change your password using the Microsoft 365 portal, which will update your credentials for all the services you use, such as email, OneDrive, and Teams. You will need to know your current password and choose a new one that meets the security requirements.

Instructions

Go to https://mysignins.microsoft.com/security-info/password/change.
Enter your Inviso username.
Enter your current password. Note: For new hires, enter the temporary password provided to you by Inviso IT.
You will be prompted to authenticate via MFA (Multi-Factor Authentication). Please proceed accordingly
1. If you have not set up your MFA, please follow the instructions provided via this link.
Under New password and Confirm new password, enter your new password.
Enter your current password and the new password you want to use. Make sure your new is different from your previous passwords and that it meets the requirements per the following:
1. Minimum length of eight (8) characters, contains characters from three (3) of the following four (4) categories:
  1. Upper case,
  2. Lower case,
  3. Digits (0-9), and
  4. Non-alphabetic characters.
2. Password cannot contain more than two (2) continuous letters from your name.
3. Password needs to be changed every 365 days.
4. Password can only be changed again after 24 hours.
Click on Submit to save your changes.
Once done, you will be brought to the My Sign-Ins page, at which point you can see that your password was Last updated a few minutes ago.
Sign out and sign back in to https://mysignins.microsoft.com/security-info/ with your new password to verify that it works.
